Macgyver, NCIS, The Inspectors, New Amsterdam, & Snowfall

LOS ANGELES (February 28, 2019) – Actor Matthew Bellows will Guest Star on three CBS shows in March and then return to NBC in early April.

Over on CBS, Bellows takes the helm as Navy Captain Reginald Barkley in the military crime drama, NCIS, on March 26th. The episode titled “Silent Service,” sets sail when Director Vance (Rocky Carroll) is notified by the Pentagon that the nuclear submarine Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Bishop (Emily Wickersham) are aboard to conduct a murder investigation has gone radio silent.

Up first on March 8th, Bellows emerges on CBS as the grief-stricken Oliver on the action-adventure drama, MACGYVER. In the episode “Seeds + Permafrost + Feather,” MacGyver (Lucas Till) and team are asked to solve a locked-door mystery when a man working inside a remote, ultra-secure international seed vault disappears.

Bellows follows this up on March 9th, appearing in the CBS Dream Team Saturday morning lineup family drama, THE INSPECTORS. Inspired by real cases handled by the United States Postal Inspection Service, this episode takes the team to an investigation in Los Angeles.

Then on April 9th, Bellows switches networks returning to NBC as Dr. Clint Hartman on the medical drama, NEW AMSTERDAM. The recurring role showcases Bellows as the self-assured Neurosurgeon who enjoys poking fun at Dr. Vijar Kapoor (Anupam Kher).

Bellows was excited by the opportunity to transform into a variety of characters, adding “I got to wear a lot of different hats between all these shows. From a French guy to a submarine commander, hopefully people have as much fun watching as I did making them.”

Currently, Bellows is shooting a recurring role in Season 3 of the hit FX drama, Snowfall. Created by John Singleton, Eric Amadio and Dave Andron, the series tracks the early days of the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles. Bellows’ role and the storyline are being kept under wraps, but the new season is set to premiere later in 2019.
